1. Las proyecciones de A Massacre Foretold en Londres salieron bien. No asistieron grandes masas, pero las personas que fueron estaban muy interesadas; algunos ya han ido a Chiapas y tienen mucha información; algunos se han sumado a nuestro equipo para hacer el altar del Día de Muertos. Gracias en particular al colectivo RampART y a Non-Commercial-House, pues pese a que RampART acababa de ser desalojado por la policía, de inmediato se coordinaron con Non-Commercial House para que pasáramos ahí la película.
2. Nos avisan Las Abejas que la Comisión Inter-Americana no aceptó el caso porque al parecer tienen una sobrecarga de casos pendientes. De todas formas representantes de Las Abejas irán personalmente en noviembre a pedir una entrevista. Mantengámonos al tanto.
3. En breve Las Abejas nos enviarán algunos documentos para que subamos a esta página, con respecto a la inminente liberación de otros 31 paramilitares presos. Hoy darán una rueda de prensa al respecto, y hace poco dieron otra rueda de prensa por el reciente hostigamiento de que han sido objeto, con el pretexto de que se les está ofreciendo ayuda estatal. Abajo están los documentos que Las Abejas ha hecho públicos al respecto.

4. Escocia está prendida: El Glasgow Social Centre y Edinburgh Chiapas Solidarity están organizando más proyecciones de A Massacre Foretold y también prepararán algo para el Día de Muertos.

1. The screenings in London of A Massacre Foretold went well. They were not precisely massive events, but the people who showed up showed lots of interest; some have already been to Chiapas and are quite well informed; some of them have joined our effort to prepare the altar for the Day of the Dead. Special thanks to the RampART Collective and to Non-Commercial-House, because even though RampART had just been evicted by the police, they immediately were coordinated with Non-Commercial House so that we could screen the film.
2. Las Abejas have informed us that the Inter-American Commission for Human Rights has not accepted their case, apparently because of an overload of work, but some representatives of Las Abejas will go there personally in November in order to have an interview.
3. Las Abejas will shortly send us some documents to upload in this page, regarding the imminent release of other 31 paramilitaries. Today they will hold a press conference about it, and recently held another one regarding the harassment they have been subjected to, under pretense of being offered State assistance.
